- Use dry ice -- Dry ice is primarily used as a cooling agent, but it can also be great for getting out those small, pesky dents from a vehicle. It's important to note that you should always wear protective gloves when handling dry ice. Simply hold down a piece of dry ice onto the dent and rub it around the compromised area. After a while, you should hear a popping sound and your dent will shift back into the correct place.
